Grid connected electrolyzers - namely their modeling and operation limits, are a major topic of interest in integrating the hydrogen economy into the power sector. The key aspect of the second phase of the URGE-H2 project will be the development of a virtual electrolyzer at the CoSES lab at TUM. This model will utilize real-world data from operational systems in Uruguay and Germany. To enhance accuracy, the virtual electrolyzer will be further refined using data from the electrolyzer at Professor Klein’s APT chair, allowing for precise parameterization of the model.
