Battery Venture Course 2026 by TUM Venture Labs: Applications Open

The course is offered as a 14-session hybrid program running from 16 April to 16 July 2026, with sessions taking place on Thursdays from 16:00 to 18:30 CET. Participation is free of charge for selected master’s students, PhD candidates, researchers, engineers, and early-stage founders across Germany. The format is inspired by the Climate Ventures model from Stanford and MIT, which has supported the creation of more than 110 deep-tech startups worldwide.
Participants work in interdisciplinary teams to:
- Explore commercialization opportunities across the battery value chain
- Conduct structured costomer discovery with industry stakeholders
- Perform techno-economic analysis (TEA) to evaluate technology viability
- Develop business models, go-to-market strategies, and investor-ready pitches
The program also includes mentoring and fireside sessions with leading founders, investors, and industry experts from the battery ecosystem.

As a talent, contributing expertise to an interdisciplinary venture team.
