Invitation to the TUM Open House Day 

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Technical University of Munich invites visitors to the Open House Day across the entire research campus in Garching. The Munich Institute of Integrated Materials, Energy and Process Engineering (MEP) will also take part with a diverse and engaging program. 

What Awaits You at the MEP 

On this day, the MEP offers comprehensive insights into current research activities and developments: 

  • Guided tours through selected research facilities of the institute 

  • Interactive stations for visitors of all ages, providing hands-on insights into our work 

  • Special exhibition “10 Years of the Geothermal Alliance Bavaria”, showcasing the most significant milestones from a decade of collaborative research on deep geothermal energy in Bavaria 

Our detailed program will be published in August 2026. 

We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, October 3, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. You will find us at the Center for Energy and Information (ZEI).
