From Materials to Energy Systems: Innovations for Sustainable Solutions
We are pleased to invite you to this year’s Energy Colloquium of the Munich Institute of Integrated Materials, Energy and Process Engineering (MEP)! The colloquium provides a central platform for interdisciplinary exchange on energy research at TUM and beyond. It aims at connecting researchers, opening new perspectives, and showcasing current scientific work.
Date: Thursday, 23 July 2026
Venue: TUM Quantum, Garching-Hochbrück
Doctoral candidates and researchers currently working on projects in the field of energy research are invited to present their work in the form of oral presentations or poster contributions.
The Energy Colloquium builds on the long tradition of the format previously organized by the MSE, which annually connected the diverse energy research activities at Bavarian universities. Researchers from various faculties and institutions last presented their work there in 2022, complemented by inspiring contributions from external guests from academia and industry.
Take the opportunity to expand your network, receive feedback on your research, and engage in discussions with experts from different disciplines. We look forward to continuing this tradition under the umbrella of the MEP, enriched with fresh impulses, new formats, and many opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange.
