On Friday, June 26, from 10:00 to 14:00, LOIFT invites you to the central hall of the Mechanical Engineering building at the Technical University of Munich in Garching. The event is open to anyone interested in the research areas and chairs connected to the TUM Mechanical Engineering Student Council and in exploring new opportunities for academic and professional development.
The Munich Institute of Integrated Materials, Energy and Process Engineering (MEP) will present two Master’s programmes:
The Master’s programme in Geothermal Engineering and Energy is offered jointly in Munich (TUM) and Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU). It trains highly qualified professionals for the growing geothermal energy sector. The programme covers the entire value chain, from the exploration of geothermal resources and their development to the use and storage of thermal energy. The Geothermal Alliance Bavaria team will introduce the programme.
The Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Multiphase Systems for Sustainable Engineering is offered at three international locations: École des Mines de Saint-Étienne (France), Politecnico di Torino (Italy), and TUM. The programme teaches state-of-the-art methods to understand, control, and design industrial processes involving particles, droplets, and bubbles, with a focus on innovative solutions for sustainable engineering. TUM representative Dr. Stefan Adami and his team will be available on site to answer questions.
Both programmes are characterised by their international, multi-location structure and a strong emphasis on hands-on, practice-oriented training.
