Organization

The 11^th international Serpent User Group Meeting will be organized by Technical University of Munich in Garching, Germany from August 29^th to September 1^st. We are pleased to organize this meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to gather Serpent users from around the world to present and discuss their work. The expected number of participants is 30-40, ranging from undergraduate students to senior professionals.

The meeting will start on Monday, August 29^th with a Kraken workshop and will be followed by three days of technical presentations. A social dinner is organized for Tuesday, August 30^th, and the tours through the FRM II will be on Wednesday, August 31^st. 

The previous meetings were held in Dresden, Germany (2011); Madrid, Spain (2012); Berkeley, CA, USA (2013); Cambridge, UK (2014); Knoxville, TN, USA (2015); Milan, Italy (2016); Gainesville, FL, USA (2017), Espoo, Finland (2018), Atlanta, Georgia, USA (2019), Garching (virtual), Germany (2020).

The meeting will start on Monday, August 29^th with a Kraken workshop followed by three days of technical presentations.

Venue

The meeting will be helt on the research campus of TUM in Garching. We reserved the room "Taurus 1" in the Science Congress Center Munich, Walther-von-Dyck Str. 10, 85748 Garching bei München.

Social dinner is on Tuesday at 19:00 in Downtown Munich. We'll enjoy traditional bavarian beer and food at the Schneider Brauhaus.
