The Delft e-Refinery Institute brings researchers and industrial partners together to address three important challenges of the energy transition: CO2 neutral fuels, seasonal energy storage and a defossilized chemical industry. On June 1, 2021 12:30-13:30, Valentin Batteiger, Lead Alternative Fuels, at Bauhaus Luftfahrt will contributes a virtual lunch lecture to this undertaking. The contribution with title “e-fuels as a key element to reduce the climate impact of aviation” discusses the potential role of electricity based fuels for a future climate-neutral aviation sector.
