TUM.Battery: Virtual research center for TUM battery research on the MSE website

From materials research to application: Battery research at the Technical University Munich

Eleven chairs and institutes of four TUM departements (Chemistry, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Physics) as well as the Research Neutron Source Heinz Maier-Leibnitz, FRMII present their research activities in the field of battery research on the new MSE website. More than 100 scientists work in this specific area - from basic research on materials in the natural sciences, cell development and process technologies in electrochemistry and electrical engineering to integration in mechanical engineering. Besides individual research activities in their core competences, the chairs and institutes carry out noumerous interdisciplinary projects that allow to draw a gap between basic research, product development and production engineering.

The newly developed pages will allow you to find out which research activities in the field of battery research are being pursued at the TUM - and by whom. Also you will find a list of projects carried out as well as latest news on events, publications and opportunities for studies.
