Workshop at the Chair of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Systems

TUM.PtX News |

Monthly TUM.Hydrogen and PtX network meeting showcases the CoSES microgrid laboratory.

As part of the monthly meeting at the Chair of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Systems (ENS), a laboratory tour of the Center for Combined Smart Energy Systems (CoSES) was provided.

Some insights were given into the laboratory, which replicates a microgrid consisting of four single-family houses (SFH) and one multi-family house(MFH). The laboratory is divided into three layers, namely heat, electricity, and communication. During the tour, the system structure, the grid configuration, and the coupling components, such as heat pumps, CHP units, and electric vehicles, were visited.
