As part of the StorageLink research project, the third workshop on "Integration and control of battery storage systems in future energy market models" took place on Tuesday, February 18, 2020. The organizers, consisting of the project partners Smart Power GmbH and the Institute for Electrical Energy Storage Technology, would like to thank the attendees for their participation and the productive expert contributions from research and industry.
Together with the participants the following topics were presented and discussed (amongst others):
- Digitization in the energy sector
- Blockchain as an enabler for new business models with energy storage system
- Role of energy storage in the modern energy sector
- Stacking of energy storage applications and their economic benefits (multi-use)
As part of the research project, two further workshops were held on the topics of prediction and optimization in the energy sector. More information can be found here.
