We congratulate Prof. H. Gasteiger on this achievement! The award is a recognition for his outstanding contributions to development in battery research. His group, the Chair of Technical Electrochemistry at the Technical University of Munich, develops materials, electrode designs and diagnostics for lithium-ion batteries and PEM fuel cells/electrolysers. Prof. H. Gasteiger has published 202 peer-reviewed articles (H-Index 74), 15 book chapters, 38 patent applications/patents.
