12th Energy Colloquium of the MEP

This year's MEP colloquium took place on July 27th 2022 in Garching. More than 100 young scientists participated in the colloquium. Advances in various fields of energy research to meet the challenges of climate change were addressed. During the day, three exciting keynote speeches were delivered by Moritz Limbacher (German Energy Agency), Dr. Christoph Wieland (Chair of Energy Systems, TUM) and Dr. Stefan Spindler (Schaeffler AG). Eight PhD students gave presentations on their research topics, and a total of 60 posters in two sessions were presented.

At the end of the day, prizes were awarded to the best presentations and posters. The book vouchers were kindly provided by the Schaeffler AG.

The Best Talks were given by Anna Lena Oechsle (Chair for Functional Materials), Thomas Licklederer (CoSES Research Center) and Thushara Addanki (Chair of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Systems).

The Best Posters were presented by Corbinian Grön (Chair of Technical Electrochemistry), Anđelka Kerekeš (Chair of Renewable and Sustainable Energy Systems) and Lukas Spanier (Chair for Functional Materials).

We congratulate the winners and we thank all participants for the exciting insights into their work!
