On Thursday, July 31st, the Munich Institute of Integrated Materials, Energy, and Process Engineering (MEP) hosted a fantastic event at the ZEI Building at TUM with dedicated participants from the core MEP members, the TUM Research Council, and other colleagues. It was a truly inspiring day filled with engaging discussions, innovative ideas, and valuable networking.
The day offered a fascinating and comprehensive insight into the current projects and the key research topics within MEP, sparking lively discussions during the morning presentations. It showcases that MEP is driving forward cutting-edge research and collaboration.
In the afternoon, participants had the choice between two exciting workshops:
- Microreactors: From Microfluidics to Industrial Bioprocesses
- Photocatalysis and Biotechnologically Produced Hydrogen
Both sessions offered deep dives into their respective fields and plenty of opportunities for meaningful exchange and idea generation. We’re already looking forward to building on these foundations in the coming weeks and months.
The lunch break was a great chance to connect, share ideas, and strengthen existing partnerships. The positive feedback and high level of engagement from all attendees underscore the relevance and success of this year's MEP General Assembly.
We thank everyone who contributed to making this event a full success and look forward to the upcoming MEP events!
