MEP provides access to modern core services and research facilities. Within the 4D Materials Group (https://www.mep.tum.de/mep/4d-materials-and-additive-technologies/), we specialize in developing advanced flow-simulation platforms. Our work ranges from direct numerical simulation tools for complex flow physics - covering multi-phase flows, shocks, and turbulence - to auto-differentiable numerical flow environments and next-generation post-Moore-era computational methodologies.
The workshop will take place on April 1-3, 2025, at TUM Campus Garching to explore applications of modern open-access flow simulation tools, advanced methodologies for fluid-flow research, machine-learning-accelerated flow simulation technologies, and Quantum computational fluid dynamics.
