The TUM.Hydrogen and PtX network has been an official member of the European research organization Hydrogen Europe Research since October 1, 2025.
With this step, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is strengthening its commitment to hydrogen and power-to-X technologies at the European level.
Hydrogen Europe Research is the scientific partner within the European Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (JU) – a public-private partnership between the European Commission, the industry association Hydrogen Europe, and the research community Hydrogen Europe Research. The initiative aims to promote research and innovation in the field of clean hydrogen technologies and to significantly advance Europe on its path to climate neutrality by 2050.
By joining Hydrogen Europe Research, the TUM.Hydrogen and PtX network gains access to one of the most important European forums for hydrogen and PtX research. This opens new opportunities for professional networking, cooperation with leading research institutions and industry partners, and the joint development of European research and demonstration projects.
