Aviation plays a key role in achieving global climate targets. But what challenges does the COVID-ravaged industry actually face and what role do sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs) play in this transformation process?
These and other exciting questions will be the focus of the upcoming Munich Aerospace Forum on June 27, 2024. The event offers an excellent opportunity to find out about current research approaches and innovations in the field of sustainable aviation fuels.
The presentation "Current research on the production of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF)" will be given by Marcel Dossow and Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Fendt, experts from the Chair of Energy Systems at the Technical University of Munich (TUM-CES). They will provide insights into their latest projects dealing with the production of SAF from green hydrogen and biomass residues. In particular, they will discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with the development and scale-up of these technologies.
The Munich Aerospace Forum will take place at the TUM site in Ottobrunn and is aimed at students, scientists, industry representatives and all interested parties who are enthusiastic about the future of aviation and sustainable energy solutions.
