In this publication, an aging dataset is used to update an electrochemical battery model for fast-charging applications over the battery's lifetime by incorporating degradation modes (loss of active material, loss of lithium inventory). This approach significantly reduces model error and highlights the potential underestimation of fast-charging capability over the lifetime when using previous methods.
