This research investigates the long-term aging behavior of lithium-ion battery cells from the VW ID.3 under realistic usage scenarios and accelerated test conditions. The objective is to identify the dominant degradation effects at the cell level and compare them with the aging behavior of a comparable battery pack in a test vehicle under real-world field conditions.
