Invitation: HyNEAT Symposium in Berlin on LH2 Supply Networks for Aviation

On December 16, 2025, the HyNEAT Symposium, titled “Unlocking Future Hydrogen Supply Networks for H₂-powered Aviation,” will take place in Berlin. The event will showcase key findings from the HyNEAT project, funded by the BMBF. Participation is free of charge and open to all stakeholders from research, industry, and policy.

Cryo-Compressed Hydrogen Truck Simulations Presented at ESCAPE 35 in Ghent

At ESCAPE 35 in Ghent, a novel simulation framework combining thermodynamic modeling and neural network-based surrogates was presented by the Institute of Plant and Process Technology (APT). It is applied to study hydrogen usage in cryo-compressed truck tanks and advancing strategies for longer driving ranges and reduced hydrogen losses.

Annual Meeting of the TUM.H2 & PtX Network Strengthens Interdisciplinary Exchange

At the annual meeting of the TUM.H2 & PtX Network, professors and researchers from ten chairs and institutes at TUM discussed current research projects and strategic topics related to hydrogen and Power-to-X technologies. In-situ CO₂ Utilization Enables Co-Production of Hydrogen and Syngas.

New publication on experiments with 100% FT-SPK in a helicopter engine

In June 2025, the research results of emission measurements on an Allison 250-C20B helicopter engine using FT-SPK were published during the ASME Turbo Expo. The FT-SPK emission results were compared with those of fossil Jet A-1 and HEFA-SPK.
