The focus of the visit was the interdisciplinary exchange on the use of renewable and alternative fuels in the combustion engine/piston engine as well as on the combustion of hydrogen and electric drive systems for road and ship traffic. The chair's ultra-modern test facilities offered impressive opportunities to experience innovative research at first hand. In addition to the technical insights, the visit enabled valuable discussions between the participants from different disciplines. The exchange helped to deepen the understanding of sustainable drive technologies and to develop new approaches for future cooperation within the TUM H2 network.
