Successful REDFINE H2E Roadshow in Brazil

TUM.PtX News |

The TUM Chair of Energy Systems is pleased to report the success of the REDFINE H2E project roadshow in Brazil. This strategic endeavor led to constructive new partnerships with prominent institutions in the energy sector.

During the roadshow, the TUM team visited important Brazilian partners, including the Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológicas (IPT) in Sao Paulo, the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), the Centro Nacional de Pesquisa em Energia e Materiais (CNPEM) in Campinas and the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
The meetings of the respective scientists:ins will enable new avenues for future collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of green hydrogen and REDEFINE technologies.

The focus areas of this international collaboration within the REDEFINE H2E International Future Laboratory include diverse research areas along the entire hydrogen value chain. These include electrically assisted gasification (e-gas), as well as reversible solid oxide cells (rSOC) and biocatalytic synthesis (Biocat). These efforts are supported by system-level aspects and modeling (SLAM) to optimize the entire hydrogen value chain.

In addition, researchers interested in hydrogen technology have the unique opportunity to participate in the Munich Hydrogen Symposium 2023 (MH2S 2023).

The Chair of Energy Systems at TUM would like to thank all partners who contributed to the success of the roadshow. Special thanks go to the TUM São Paulo office and Sören Metz for their on-site support.
