MSE Colloquium 2012

A colloquium was held at Munich School of Engineering once again in 2013. The title on this occasion was “Energy Challenges – Germany 2050” and the event addressed the upcoming energy turnaround.

In keeping with the theme, Paul van Son (Dii GmbH) and Daniel Hofmann (Energy Sector Siemens AG) used their keynote speeches to focus on future challenges in the field of energy from the business perspective.

Energy research at TUM was presented in all its facets in 12 specialist talks and numerous posters. Contributions from various faculties were compiled and made accessible to the interdisciplinary audience so as to pro-mote scientific dialog and further intensify collaborative research.
External guests also took the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight into the far-reaching energy research activities going on at TUM.

A newly added element of the event was the presentation of a poster award and a presentation award in the form of a book voucher.
