Visit of a Delegation from Mexico at the MSE

On Monday, 20 June 2016, a delegation from Mexico, consisting of representatives of the state and of industry, visited the Munich School of Engineering

The delegation was made up of the Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Karla Jessica Gasca Lara and 14 industry representatives. In a 3 hour meeting Prof. Dr. Müller-Buschbaum (http://www.nrg.mse.tum.de/en/nrg-home/) presented the advantages of organic photovoltaic cells and its possible future applications. Research Associate Marcus Müller presented the results of the MSE EEBatt project (http://www.eebatt.tum.de/en/home/), focussing especially on the setup of a battery storage unit into a small urban grid. Dr. Christoph Neubert, Managing Director of MSE, welcomed the delegation, “This short visit made clear that the findings and the output of MSE research is highly relevant and underlines that intelligent integration of renewable energy sources and the use of battery storage units are viable future options not only for Bavaria, but worldwide.”
